I can still remember the days when we used to play by our grandparents’ antique rocking chair (tumba-tumba, as we called it). We were kids then so we didn’t really use the rocking chair for relaxing, drinking coffee in the morning while reading a newsletter kinda of relaxation. Anyway, rocking chairs seem to be on trend right now and if only our house has floor as nice as the image above and if Bryce were a bit older (because for sure it would become one of his toys instead), I’d definitely buy one.
For those of you who are interested, here’s where you can find the cheapest one I found (in the Philippines).
It’s actually P2,999.75 at Uratex Warehouse: 32 Miller St., San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City (Sorry for the fuzzy image. I only had my phone with me when I visited the warehouse)
I also found someone, Marykay Cherry in Sulit.com.ph selling the same Uratex chairs for P4,500. If you live down south, I guess the trip to Quezon City would be worth it especially if you’re saving P1,500 for this cute accent chair.
Baxton Studio White Plastic Rocking Chair: $179
If you’re not in the Philippines, Amazon.com probably has the cheapest one for $115.00 and I found one from eBay for $129.00 and Walmart for $129.99
